SERASAN IS BUILDING A GREENHOUSE IN MANY COUNTRIES

Estabilished 3 years ago in Sandikli town of Afyonkarahisar city. Greenhouse construction materials producing company, 12 provinces in Turkey in 9 countries in the world and contribute to the economy with jobs created by establishing European standards in modern greenhouses.

Hasan Yıldırım (49), Chairman of the Board of Directors of Serasan Yapi Teknikleri Limited Company, started working in Antalya in 1994 as an employee of an iron and steel workshop, which has a door joinery and railing.

Yildirim, various companies in Turkey and abroad participated to the soilless agriculture greenhouses and modern R & D training.In 2002, he established his own workshop on greenhouse installation and assembly in Antalya. The company, which grew in a short time, turned into a factory in Antalya Organized Industrial Zone in 2008 with technological developments.

The company, which makes technological modern greenhouse installations of Turkey's geothermal regions and abroad, met Afyonkarahisar 7 years ago.

The company, which produces 100 percent domestic greenhouse construction equipments in the facility established in Sandikli in 2016,Turkey and abroad for employment and the national economy by increasing its market outside offers significant added value.

Yıldırım, in his statement to the AA reporter, emphasized that they can produce the equipments of a plant they want from A to Z in their greenhouse installation in conditions suitable for the climate they need.

Yıldırım pointed out that Sandıklı, which is at the crossroads of many cities regarding the transportation of the materials it produces, gives them an advantage and added:

  "In our country, greenhouse cultivation not only in Antalya, but also in Uşak, Denizli, Afyonkarahisar, Eskişehir, Kütahya and Konya, there are geothermal areas and greenhouses are built here. We have the capacity to produce around 45 thousand tons of steel construction annually. We export and install 85 percent of our production abroad. Our 15 percent is our domestic market. We have an annual volume of around 50 million dollars. "

 

"THE CENTER OF OUR FOREIGN MARKET IS UZBEKISTAN"

Yıldırım explained that approximately 1600 people are employed in the greenhouses they installed in Sandıklı.

Yıldırım stated that generally 90 percent of the greenhouses they install are vegetable weights and he added: "We are installing technological greenhouses in İzmir, Manisa, Aydın, Denizli, Antalya, Afyonkarahisar, Konya, Uşak and Kütahya domestically. The center of our foreign market is Uzbekistan. In addition, we are installing greenhouses in Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, Russia and North Macedonia, along with our sale of greenhouse construction materials. We are installing 90 percent tomato greenhouse in the foreign market. The rest is made up of seedlings and herbaceous plants. "

Yıldırım explained that they plan to increase the capacity of their greenhouse construction facilities in Sandıklı by 10 times in the coming years.

Yıldırım pointed out that their target is the European market and he added : ‘’There is a constant need for climate change from greenhouse cultivation. We think that the business potential in the industry will continue for many years.’’
