Cellulosic Pad

It is a direct humidification cooling system that commonly using in greenhouses.
- Fans used for air absorbing inside the greenhouse,
- Pad for humidifying the air entering into the greenhouse,
- Pump for the circulation of water in the pad,
- It consists of water tank and distribution pipes.
As pad material, wood, metal, mineral, glass, plastic and cellulose based materials can be used.
Poplar shavings, which is the most suitable material; although it is resistant to rotting, it should be changed every year as it is clogged..
In recent years, specially treated cardboard pads are commonly using.
The pad unit is placed on the edge of the greenhouse in the summer season.
Fans should be placed on the other side opposite the pad.
The distance between the fans should be maximum 6-9 meters.
In greenhouses with a long length, it is more convenient to place the pad units on both ends of the greenhouse.
